Sinclair’s Bush May 21/23

Sinclair’s Bush is a 46 hectare forest. It includes an undisturbed, original forest that is an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest with seven provincially rare species within its boundaries.

We were alerted to the woods as a possible birding hotspot, but on the afternoon we were there, we detected few birds. Instead, we found an abundance of wildflowers in bloom, a not-unwelcome sight.

On our way back to our cottage, we came across a field in bloom, probably canola.

Music Videos

Here is just one of the amazing videos from The Condor’s Feather playlist.

Another channel that keeps showing up in my feed is Brendan Kavanagh who plays a piano in an airport.

Kezia Gill showed up to belt out a Ray Charles song…

…and later a Hank WIlliams song at the start of a longer set which attracted a larger crowd. She brought her guitar this time.
